Four fast lifts connect Lanersbach’s skiing area with that of Mayrhofen/Finkenberg, making for a single large interconnected area. There are a staggering 48 lifts and 141 km of slopes up to an altitude of 2500 m.

Apart from the 140 kilometres’ worth of slopes, which are very close by, de Hintertuxer Glacier is , only 6 km from Lanersbach. This glacial area has 21 lifts and 86 km of slopes up to an altitude of 3200 m, and has an absolute snow guarantee all year round. With the same ski pass, you can also go skiing in the rest of the Zillertal, which in total contains about 140 lifts and 400 km of slopes. Some well-known ski resorts are, for example, Gerlos, Zell am Ziller, Fügen and Köningsleiten.

The town of Lanersbach itself still has that untainted ‘alpine charm’ and offers plenty of possibilities for a relaxed after-skiing time or a pleasant night out in the Weinstube. Mayrhofen, which is known for its large array of lively nightlife venues, is only a few kilometres away from Lanersbach.

Haus Irmgard
Haus Irmgard is a spacious, very centrally-located chalet. The Eggalmlift, which will take you straight to the centre of the area, is across from the chalet. If you wish to go skiing for a day on the Hintertuxer Glacier, you can take the bus that stops in front of the chalet.

The chalet has 8 bedrooms (2- and 3-person) of which 5 have their own shower/toilet. Three rooms make use of the communal floor shower and toilet. Most of the rooms have a balcony. The large Stube with cool house bar make the house complete.
Behind the house runs a cross-country skiing trail, which is part of the valley’s 20 km long cross-country trail network which is also lit at night. Hikers also have plenty to enjoy, with 70 km of maintained hiking paths.
