Covid-19 Guarantee for reservations winter 2022/2023
As a travel organization, we understand that the outbreak of the global Covid-19 pandemic is creating uncertainty when booking a winter sports holiday for the 2022-2023 season.
Bookings with Money Back Guarantee:
As far as Covid-19 is concerned, our rules are that if the chalet you have booked is closed due to a Covid-19 outbreak, we will see if alternative accommodation is available within our database (with multiple options you will of course get the choice). If this is not the case, you will receive your travel sum back (so no voucher). Since we receive guests from all over Europe, we do not look at the "safety colors" used by foreign governments, we follow the guidelines as instructed by the Austrian authorities.
When does the Money Back guarantee not apply?
If the trip you have booked can be delivered, but you do not have the right documents to stay at your destination (e.g. so-called Coronapass), this does not give any reason for a refund. Based on the currently available information, it is possible for anyone to apply for a Coronapass. Not having a corona vaccination is a personal choice and the consequences associated with it fall within the personal sphere of risk. This also applies to any restrictive measures for the use of facilities on location (for example, access to restaurant/aprés-ski facilities). Also then, Money Back is not possible. If you decide not to travel or to return earlier, our standard cancellation conditions apply.
Furthermore, we would like to point out that there may be a cancellation insurance that will cover the costs (or partly the costs) of cancellation by Covid-19. Since we are based in the Netherlands, we can only offer such insurance for Dutch guests. But it is worth informing in your own country about the possibilities there!
N.B. If you have made a reservation through an external provider such as Booking.com or a local tourist office, the terms and conditions that you have accepted when booking through this external provider, will of course apply.
