The Hintertux Glacier is only 6 km from Lanersbach. This glacier area offers guaranteed snow all year round and is the only ski area in Austria that is open all year round. max. 20km of groomed slopes are waiting for you in the summer.
The breathtaking view of the eternal ice and the surrounding mountain peaks from the panorama terrace at 3,250 m is also accessible for families with prams and wheelchairs and can be easily reached from the underground car park of the valley station.
Zillertal Alps Nature Park
The Zillertal Alps Nature Park with 422 km² of untouched landscape can be discovered daily on three different guided themed hikes with the nature park guides. The 3 summer cable cars, the hiking taxi and the free hiking bus make it easier for those looking for a comfortable alternative to reach the top.

Young and old will find fun and adventure on a journey of discovery through the TUX worlds. The various themed routes such as the world of canyons, the world of nature, the animal world, the plant world, the water world and the glacier world invite you to feel, see, understand and wonder. In the Luis' Glacier Bug Park at 3,250 m, probably the highest playground in Europe, there is guaranteed to be no time for boredom, whether during a round of snow tire carousels or during a snowball fight - in the middle of summer. Luis' Glacier Bug Ball Safari in the Sommerbergalm hiking area on the Hintertux Glacier is the latest attraction: exciting wooden ball courts with numerous obstacles.
To let off steam on the mountain, the "Almspielerei", an alpine playground on the Eggalm with a water pond, tow boat and raft, provides refreshment. In Pepis Kinderland, the 8 m high giant bear Pepi and a low ropes course invite you to play and climb. In Pepis Schaukelparadies on the Penkenjoch things are going very high. In the 1000 m² Playarena in Tux-Vorderlanersbach, a lot of fun is guaranteed with a high ropes course, climbing wall, giant slides, trampoline park and much more.
