Immerse yourself in the beautiful mountains of the Tuxertal and be surprised by the variety of possibilities in summer!
Tux-Finkenberg is ideally located for more than 350km of hiking trails and 120km of mountain bike trails. Whether it's a relaxing hike to one of the mountain huts or a challenging mountain bike tour, you can find it all here.
Also for those who are looking for more action there is plenty to do here, paragliding, climbing or skiing/snowboarding on the glacier, it is all possible here.
"A sea of mountains in the Zillertal"
The Hintertux Glacier is only 6 km from Lanersbach. This glacier area offers absolute snow security all days of the year and is the only ski area in Austria that is open all year round. A max. of 20km prepared slopes are waiting for you in the summer.
The breathtaking view of the eternal ice and the surrounding mountain peaks from the panorama terrace at 3,250 m is also accessible for families with prams and wheelchairs and can be easily reached from the underground parking garage of the valley station.
The village of Lanersbach itself has retained its unspoilt 'Alpine charm' and also offers plenty of opportunities for a pleasant evening out. Mayrhofen, known for its very extensive and lively nightlife, is only a few kilometers from Lanersbach.
The chalet
Haus Irmgard is one of our chalets which we also rent out in summer, it is a spacious and super centrally located chalet with private parking spaces in front of the door. Next to the house is a terrace where you can sit and relax.
The chalet has 8 bedrooms (2 and 3-persons), 5 of them have their own shower/toilet. Three rooms use the first floor shower and separate toilet. Most rooms also have a balcony. The spacious Stube with a cozy house bar and its own fully equiped kitchen makes the house complete.
