Fiss - Serfaus - Ladis

In the Inntal, on the border between Italy and Switzerland, lies Fiss, at a height of 1436 m. The surrounding areas serve to block bad weather, affording Fiss, which is in the south, more than 2000 hours of sun annually. The opportunity to ski on its north side and the many snow cannons ensure good slope conditions all year round.

Fiss is an atmospheric Tirolean mountain town with an enjoyable balance between rural charm and tourism. For a more mundane experience there is Serfaus, which is 3 km away. Fiss is an ideal place for a straightforward after-ski evening in a century-old ‘Wirsthaus’ or a night out. It has everything, but nothing too much, and... you’ll never have to walk more than a few hundred metres. This is also true for the lifts and skiing school.

"Sunny town with 214 km of slopes for the entire family”

The skiing area has mostly new lifts and modern restaurants. The many snow cannons ensure good slope conditions all season, and valley descents are always available.

From the Frommes to the Masner
The Masner, in Serfaus, offers excellent skiing, and the Masner Hütte has a highly diverse menu for a mountain restaurant. Snow conditions are perfect throughout the season thanks to the 2748 metre altitude. The Frommesabfahrt in Fiss is very popular as an end-of-the-day activity. This descent is more than 10 km long and leads to both Fiss and Ladis.

Family fun
The area doesn’t only cater to skiing. Its diverse attractions provide a spectacular break from the mostly long and straightforward descents. The ‘Fissner kite’ allows you to soar over the slopes like an eagle. Or consider ‘tubing’ in a rubber tyre down the slope.

Experience
The area’s diversity and modern facilities, and heated lifts, make for a great experience. Non-skiers can walk along the many beautiful hiking paths and hikers can reach the most gorgeous locations by snow mobile. The renovated Funpark is a must for experienced snowboarders. The little ones can learn how to ski in Kinderland, where every day is a feast.

Red slopes
Although the area is largely comprised of red slopes, it is still challenging enough for experts. There’s always an off-track hotspot to be found. The touring skiers will enjoy the untouched Urgtall of the crossing to the tax-free Samnaun.
