Châtel Reizen has been organizing winter sports holidays since 1985, based on an enjoyable formula that appeals to a large group of winter sports enthusiasts. By combining the advantages of staying in a hotel with the benefits of an apartment or chalet, your winter sports holiday can become even more enjoyable while remaining affordable.
The starting point is a large, atmospheric chalet, located directly on or within walking distance of the slopes in a large and snow-sure ski area. Each chalet has a cozy communal area: the Stube. This is the central point for the guests. In the morning, a delicious breakfast awaits you here, after skiing there is tea, but of course a warm glass of Glühwein is also possible. In the evening, the Stube is the meeting place for a chat or a game.
In the chalets, one or two carefully selected Dutch-speaking Châtel hosts or hostesses are present. In addition to discreetly managing the household of the chalet and providing an extensive breakfast and afternoon tea, they are also your host(ess) and source of information. They can arrange possible discounts on ski rental, organize activities such as a cheese fondue evening or tobogganing night, and can, if desired (in consultation), act as a babysitter or guide. And… you don’t have to look for him or her because the host(ess) also lives in the chalet. One day a week, the chalet staff is off after breakfast.
Names such as Sölden, Zell am See/Kaprun, Montafon - Brandnertal, Zillertal, Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, and Sportwelt Amadé speak for themselves!
If the decision has already been made in the Netherlands to go on a winter sports holiday as a group, Châtel naturally offers the possibility to reserve an entire chalet. So, whether you are planning a family reunion in the snow, a trip with your club team, or celebrating a company target with the whole team: Châtel can offer an excellent alternative and is happy to advise you on which chalet/ski area best suits the specific wishes of your group. For example, are there children in the group, are there non-skiers and/or expert skiers and/or cross-country skiers, is it a lively group, après-ski, etc.? These are all factors that can be taken into account to make your holiday a success. Please note that you do not have a kitchen for your own use.
The Châtel formula is also very suitable for families with children. For example, our chalet staff can (in consultation) babysit for an evening. In our catered chalets, it is also possible for the children to have dinner first, after which the parents can dine once the children are in bed. Of course, every chalet is equipped as standard with one cot and one high chair.
Are you going on holiday as a couple or with a small group? You can also book one or more rooms in a chalet. In a relaxed and informal atmosphere, you will meet your fellow chalet guests. Châtel Reizen not only books Dutch guests but also more and more international guests! Thanks to the setup of Châtel Reizen, it is easy to make contact and, for example, plan ski trips together if you wish. Our Norwegian guests might even teach you the finer points of Telemark skiing!
Would you prefer an apartment with your own kitchen? For this, Chatel Reizen also offers a number of apartments that are rented on a self-catering basis. You can check in with our chalet staff, who will direct you to your own apartment. Here you have your own living room/kitchen and private bathroom facilities. Of course, you can always contact our chalet staff if you have any questions, but we assume you are otherwise self-sufficient; therefore, it is not possible to book extras such as breakfast.
The chalets are easily accessible by car. Train travelers can disembark at Bludenz (Gaschurn), Landeck (Fiss), Ötztal Bahnhof (Sölden and Huben), Jenbach (Tux/Lanersbach), Zell am See or St. Johann im Pongau (Großarl).
In addition, there are various shuttle bus organizations that can take you from the airport to your destination.
Via the search & book button you can find the prices of the chalets, rooms and/or apartments. The prices for the rooms and chalets always include breakfast, the prices of the apartments are based on self-catering. The tourist tax is not included.
