Haus Alpina - Großarl

Großarl is a very popular destination in
the Salzburgerland. It is a traditionally charming
Austrian winter sports village that is part of the Ski Amadé ski region: 270 lifts, 760 km of slopes, all on one ski pass!

Even though your ski pass offers 760 km of slopes, you also have plenty of options in the immediate vicinity: the ski area of Großarl itself provides a very diverse range with 24 lifts and 80 km of slopes. The adjacent Gastein Valley (with the well-known towns of Bad Hofgastein and Badgastein) adds another 120 km of slopes. You can also take the free ski bus from Großarl to St. Johann/Alpendorf, from where you can ski to, for example, Wagrain/Flachau.

The charming village is set in beautiful surroundings. There are hiking trails and cross-country ski tracks, including routes to a romantic outlier of the famous Hohe Tauern nature reserve. Children have also been considered: baby and toddler care, a friendly children's ski school—everything parents and children could wish for.

Haus Alpina

Haus Alpina is a spacious, very comfortable chalet. The location is also ideal: on the edge of the lively center and just a 5-minute walk from the lifts (ski depot available) and the ski school.

The chalet has 10 well-maintained, spacious bedrooms with private shower/toilet, some with a balcony. Several rooms have a third bed. Add to this the cozy Stube with an open fireplace, and we can truly call this a top chalet. For the children, there is a playroom in the basement with, among other things, a table tennis table!

The arrangement prices mentioned alongside are prices per night for booking the entire chalet based on: 

• a stay including bed and breakfast
• 6 times per week, afternoon tea is served with a variety of sweet and savory snacks
• 6 times per week, coffee/tea after dinner (dinner is not included) in the chalet
• including host(ess) service 
• including linen (towel change halfway through for stays of 5 nights or longer)
• including (final) cleaning
• the mentioned prices are excluding tourist tax, travel, ski pass, etc.
• the mentioned price applies for stays of 5 nights or longer. During school holidays, we only offer weekly stays with arrival/departure on Sunday (except for Christmas and New Year, when Saturday - Saturday is also possible)

Individual Room Reservations

At Haus Alpina, it is also possible to book one or more rooms in the chalet, with the remaining rooms being rented out to other guests. On the ground floor, we have a family ensuite room consisting of 2 separate bedrooms with a spacious bathroom with bath, shower, and toilet. Spread over the first and second floors, we have 4 double rooms, 4 triple rooms, and a 4-person family room with a sofa bed. All rooms have their own bathroom with bath or shower and toilet.

Short Ski Break

For a stay of 3 or 4 nights, a surcharge of 15% applies to the above prices. A short ski break is only possible outside school holidays. For a Short Ski break, in most cases, arrival/departure is on Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday, or Monday.

Dinner

If you are interested in dinner, please inquire about the possibilities. When you reserve the entire chalet, we offer the option to have a meal served in the chalet! Please note that you cannot cook yourself in the chalet.

If you are interested in a reservation for winter '26-'27, please inquire about the possibilities for making an advance booking. This way, you are guaranteed your favorite chalet even before the official prices are online and we open our reservation system for new bookings!
