Haus Schönjochl - Fiss

Fiss is located on the sun terrace of Tyrol, high above the Inn Valley.
Thanks to the surrounding mountain ranges, bad weather is often kept at bay, allowing Fiss – with its southern location – to enjoy more than 2,000 hours of sunshine per year. On the northern side, the slopes and numerous snow cannons ensure excellent snow conditions throughout the entire season. In this way, Fiss uniquely combines sun, snow, and atmosphere.

Fiss has remained a charming Tyrolean mountain village with a pleasant balance between rural character and tourism. For uncomplicated après-ski in a centuries-old ‘Wirtshaus’ or a night out, Fiss is an excellent choice.

Everything is there, but nothing in excessive numbers, and... you never have to walk more than a few hundred meters. This also applies to the distance to the lifts or the ski school.

Haus Schönjochl

The house is completely in line with the Châtel formula. A spacious, very cozy and comfortable chalet, with 7 well-maintained bedrooms, 5 of which have a balcony. On the ground floor of the chalet you will find the inviting house stube.

On the first floor you will find a double/triple room with its own shower/toilet. There is also another double/triple room and a double room with a washbasin on this floor, which share a spacious bathroom with bathtub/shower, and there is a separate toilet. The second floor is identical to the first floor. On the third floor you will find a very spacious double/quadruple room with its own shower/toilet.

The house also has two apartments, which are offered on a self-catering basis. When booking the entire chalet, these apartments are not included. 

Would you like to book including dinner? This is possible when you reserve the entire chalet. Dinner will then be served in the chalet itself. Feel free to ask about the possibilities!

The arrangement prices mentioned alongside are prices per night for booking the entire chalet based on: 

• a stay including bed and breakfast
• 6 times per week, afternoon tea is served with a variety of sweet and savory snacks
• 6 times per week, coffee/tea after dinner (dinner is not included) in the chalet
• including host(ess) service 
• including linen (towel change halfway through for stays of 5 nights or longer)
• including (final) cleaning
• the mentioned prices are excluding tourist tax, travel, ski pass, etc.
• the mentioned price applies for stays of 5 nights or longer. During school holidays, we only offer weekly stays with arrival/departure on Sunday (except for Christmas and New Year, when Saturday - Saturday is also possible)

Individual Room Reservations

At Haus Schönjochl, it is also possible to book one or more rooms in the chalet, with the remaining rooms being rented to other guests. On the first floor, you will find a double/triple room with its own shower/toilet. There is also another double/triple room and a double room with a washbasin on this floor, which share a spacious bathroom with bathtub/shower, and there is a separate toilet. The second floor is identical to the first floor. On the 3rd floor, you will find a very spacious double/quadruple room with its own shower/toilet.

Short Ski Break

For a stay of 3 or 4 nights, a surcharge of 15% applies to the above prices. A short ski is only possible outside school holidays. For a Short Ski break, in most cases, arrival/departure is on Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday, or Monday.

Dinner

If you are interested in dinner, please inquire about the possibilities. When you reserve the entire chalet, we offer the option to have a meal served in the chalet! Please note that you cannot cook yourself in the chalet.

If you are interested in a reservation for winter '26-'27, please inquire about the possibilities for making an advance booking. This way, you are guaranteed your favorite chalet even before the official prices are online and we open our reservation system for new bookings!
