Haus Rudigier - Gaschurn

Gaschurn/Gortipohl is a charming winter sports destination in the heart of the Montafon valley, where tradition and modern winter sports come together perfectly. With over 296 kilometers of slopes with the Montafon - Brandnertal WildPass, countless ski routes, and breathtaking views of the Alps, this is a paradise for both avid skiers and families.

The more than 295 km of slopes combined with the high snow reliability make this area particularly interesting for both skiers and cross-country skiers. The many restaurants located directly on the slopes provide the necessary relaxation in between or after skiing. And all this at just 875 km from Utrecht!

Gaschurn is a charming, traditional Austrian ski village with lively nightlife options. Tobogganing, tennis, and squash are also among the possibilities. Another thing that immediately stands out is the price level in Gaschurn, which is significantly lower than in other ski areas. This makes the area very attractive for families with children.

Haus Rudigier

Haus Rudigier is a beautifully situated, well-maintained chalet in Austrian style, located halfway between Gaschurn and Gortipohl. It is about 1.5 km (the free ski bus stops at the chalet) to the village centers and the valley stations of the ski lifts. It is especially convenient that you can leave your shoes and skis in one of the designated depots at the lifts.

The chalet has a sunny terrace and plenty of space and parking around it. Opposite the chalet, along the little river, there is a cross-country trail and a beautiful walking path to the various villages. Spread over two floors, there are 4 double rooms and 2 triple rooms. Two rooms have their own shower/toilet. The other rooms, some with a large balcony, have a washbasin. The shared sanitary facilities (2 bathrooms plus an extra toilet) are well maintained.

If desired, we can reserve a table for you for dinner at the modern, very good Silvretta restaurant (100 m away).

The arrangement prices mentioned alongside are prices per night for booking the entire chalet based on: 

• a stay including bed and breakfast
• 6 times per week, afternoon tea is served with a variety of sweet and savory snacks
• 6 times per week, coffee/tea after dinner (dinner is not included) in the chalet
• including host(ess) service 
• including linen (towel change halfway through for stays of 5 nights or longer)
• including (final) cleaning
• the mentioned prices are excluding tourist tax, travel, ski pass, etc.
• the mentioned price applies for stays of 5 nights or longer. During school holidays, we only offer weekly stays with arrival/departure on Sunday (except for Christmas and New Year, when Saturday - Saturday is also possible)

Short Ski Break

At Haus Rudigier, it is also possible to book one or more rooms in the chalet, with the remaining rooms being rented out to other guests. Spread over two floors, there are 3x double and 3x triple rooms. Two rooms have their own shower/toilet. The other rooms, some with a large balcony, have a washbasin. The shared sanitary facilities (2 bathrooms plus an extra toilet) are well maintained. 

Short Ski Break

For a stay of 3 or 4 nights, a surcharge of 15% applies to the above prices. A short ski is only possible outside school holidays. For a Short Ski break, in most cases, arrival/departure is on Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday, or Monday.

Dinner

If you are interested in dinner, please inquire about the possibilities. In most cases, we offer the option to reserve a table for you at a nearby restaurant up to 8 weeks before arrival, where you can dine à la carte. Please note that it is not possible to cook in the chalet yourself.
