Fiss is located on the sun terrace of Tyrol, high above the Inn Valley.
Thanks to the surrounding mountain ranges, bad weather is often kept at bay, allowing Fiss – with its southern location – to enjoy more than 2,000 hours of sunshine per year. 

Fiss has retained its charming Tyrolean village atmosphere, offering a pleasant balance between rural tranquillity and tourism.

Haus Schönjochl

During the summer season, Haus Schönjochl offers four different apartment types, suitable for both small and larger groups. All apartments are rented on a self-catering basis and have ample parking available directly at the property.

Layout of the house

Apartment 1

Apartment 1 accommodates up to 4 guests. The apartment has its own private entrance via the central staircase. From this entrance you have access to the living room, the fully equipped kitchen, the bedroom and the living area. Apartment 1 is completely self-contained and ideal for families or small groups.

Apartment 2

Apartment 2 accommodates up to 3 guests. This apartment also has its own private entrance via the central staircase. From the entrance you have access to the living room, kitchen and bedroom(s). Apartment 2 is also completely self-contained.

Apartments 3 & 4 (Chalet Section)

Apartments 3 and 4 are located in the chalet section of Haus Schönjochl.

During the winter season, this part of the property operates as a guesthouse with individual rooms including breakfast. During the summer season, however, it is rented exclusively as one private accommodation, available in two different sizes.

It is therefore important to note that Apartment 3 and Apartment 4 are not two separate apartments, but two different versions of the same accommodation.

Apartment 3

Apartment 3 is suitable for smaller groups of up to 8 guests.

On the ground floor you will find:

• a cosy Tyrolean lounge (Stube) with ample seating;
• a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven and generous refrigerator and storage space;
• a separate utility room with a large freezer and washing machine.

On the first floor there are three bedrooms:

• one double/triple room with private shower and toilet;
• one double/triple room with washbasin;
• one double room with washbasin;
• bathroom with bathtub, shower and a separate toilet.

The corridor leading to these bedrooms can be locked from the staircase, and each bedroom can also be locked individually.

The arrangement prices listed alongside are prices per night for booking the apartment based on: 

• a stay on a self-catering basis (no meals included)
• including the Super Summer Card, which offers free use of the mountain cable cars and many additional benefits
• excluding towels/bed linen (available for rent at € 15 per person)
• excluding mandatory final cleaning fee of €100,-
• excluding tourist tax of € 3.70 per person per night (children born up to and including 2020 are exempt from tourist tax)
• babies up to and including 1 year of age stay free of charge and therefore do not need to be counted in the number of guests
